I had the pleasure of attending a truly memorable dinner hosted by my dear friends, Vaseem Anvar and Shameelah Ismail, whose gracious hospitality made the evening exceptional.

The gathering was held in honor of the newly appointed U.S. Consul General in Lahore, Mr. Stetson Sanders, who has already made a remarkable impression through his openness, collaborative spirit, and genuine warmth.

It was also a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with friends and peers from the business, corporate, government, and diplomatic community, including my great friend Mr. Ben Warrington, Head of the British High Commission Office in Lahore, and my teacher and friend from LUMS days, Former Senator Walid Iqbal.

A night filled with meaningful conversations, strengthened relationships, and renewed friendships — a true reflection of how hospitality and dialogue bring people together.
