Delighted to meet my friend Farooq Wahab Naiyer over dinner here in Toronto. Farooq is the Global Head for Technology and Cyber security with one of the leading companies in insurance worldwide. We talked about the tech and startup ecosystem and the opportunities for companies to contribute and grow in the North American market.

We both were Rotaract Club members in Pakistan and recalled some of the great community and social service projects and our friends from the early 2000s. Farooq is very active with various Pakistani Canadian business development initiatives/efforts here and knows the who’s who of the Canadian business and tech ecosystem.
