I had the opportunity to teach a session in the Leadership for Senior Executives program at the Rausing Executive Development Centre (REDC), SDSB–LUMS, on a topic very close to my heart: “Creating Influence Inside and Outside the Organization Through Networking.”

In today’s fast-changing world, the ability to build meaningful and strategic connections is no longer just a soft skill — it is a core leadership competency. Effective leaders know how to create influence not only within their teams but across the wider organizational and industry ecosystem.
