Rotary Club of Lahore Corporate 2nd Free Medical Camp

the success of our second free medical camp, held at Mandviwala village in partnership with the Dastras Foundation

As President of the Rotary Club of Lahore Corporate, I am honored to share the success of our second free medical camp, held at Mandviwala village in partnership with the Dastras Foundation. A very well-respected Rotarian and our friend Dr. Noor ul Zaman Rafiq provided doctors and necessary support for the medical camp. This initiative provided comprehensive care across various specialties, including pediatrics, dentistry, gynecology, dermatology, ophthalmology, and general medicine.

Senior Rotarian Dr. Dr. Shaheena Asif Choudhary inaugurated the medical camp. Despite Mandviwala’s proximity to metropolitan centers, it faces challenges in health, hygiene, sewage, and sanitation. These issues contribute to high rates of stunted growth, malnutrition, viruses, and water-borne diseases. Rotary Club globally strives to address such gaps in community service and human development, and our Lahore Corporate chapter is proud to make a tangible impact through this medical camp.

Special thanks to Ms. Shaiza Shahid and the Dastras Foundation team for their outstanding support. Heartfelt gratitude to all Rotary Club of Lahore Corporate members who contributed to this initiative. Together, we are committed to serving communities in areas of disease prevention & treatment, water, sanitation & hygiene (WASH), maternal & child health, basic education & literacy, community economic development, and environmental sustainability.

A big round of applause to our club senior members Ruhaina Qureshi, Khurram Qureshi, and M.S. Babar for their valuable time and leadership. Also grateful to club members Zeshan Qureshi, Sajjad Siddiqui, Shah Jahan, and Club Secretary Sumaira Malik for the support extended in making this project a success.
