The office bearers of SDSB Luminites Association – including Vice President Ahsan Sheikh, Finance Secretary Nabeel Ilyas, and myself as the President – had the pleasure of visiting Furqan Syed, CEO of PepsiCo Pakistan. As an alumnus of LUMS and a dedicated member of the LUMS Board of Trustees, Furqan’s contributions to both LUMS and Pepsi are truly commendable. We extended a warm invitation to Furqan to join us at the upcoming LUMS Alumni Annual Reunion 2024 – happening on 19th February 2024 at Central Courtyard LUMS. In our upcoming reunion, along with some other key features of the evening; we will bid farewell to Furqan as he embarks on a new global role with PepsiCo. We told Furqan that we are all very proud of his accomplishments and the positive impact that he makes as an inspirational leader.

Furqan’s presence would be a testament to the strong partnership between Pepsi and LUMS, one of the many examples of which is the iconic Pepsi Dining Center (PDC) at LUMS and multiple other avenues in which both the organizations engage. Furqan graciously accepted our invitation to the LUMS SDSB Luminites Association Alumni Annual Reunion 2024.

Senior Director PepsiCo and Immediate Past President of SDSB LUMINITES Association Saad M Khan also joined in the meeting. This was an excellent opportunity for us all to discuss how we can all work more strongly and collaboratively on strengthening the ecosystem.
