TiE Islamabad Charter Member Retreat Strengthens Pakistan’s Entrepreneurial Ecosystem

Two days in the mountains were a powerful reminder of what truly builds an entrepreneurial ecosystem.

I had the pleasure of attending the TiE Islamabad Charter Member Retreat at Zesora Nathia Gali, a beautiful retreat created with great care by our friends Fahad Qureshi, Murtaza Zaidi, and Yawar Siddiqui.

From morning yoga among the pines and walks through the Nathia Gali hills to a soulful Qawali evening, the retreat created space for conversations that went far beyond traditional networking.

Of the many professional communities I am fortunate to be part of, TiE Islamabad holds a very special place in my heart. Over the past four years, fellow members have become lifelong friends. Having also participated in TiE gatherings in Dubai and Toronto, I have seen firsthand the strength and global reach of this entrepreneurial network.

What makes TiE special is its culture of giving back, building trust, creating meaningful connections, and supporting entrepreneurs through mentoring, networking, learning, incubation, and access to funding.

The biggest reminder from these two days was simple. Strong ecosystems are not built only through events and agendas. They are built through relationships, trust, generosity, and people who genuinely want to see others succeed.

Grateful for the peace, friendships, and meaningful conversations. Thank you, TiE Islamabad, for another memorable experience.
