I was delighted to be invited to Forman Christian College (A Chartered University) to meet with their Rector Dr. Jonathan Addleton and the President of FCCU Alumni Association Mr. Bob Din. Chief Marketing and Outreach Officer of the university Ms. Badia Raza, Head of Advancement Mr. Adeel Riaz, and Manager of Corporate and Foundation Relations Ms. Jaweria Iqbal also joined in this meeting.

This was my visit to FC College University after a very long time. The last time I came here was in 1997 as a young student to complete my intermediate. Delighted to see all the great work that has happened in this University in all these years.

Dr. Jonathan told me that FCCU was built in 1864. The college inducted women as students in 1904. The campus was moved to its current location on the beautiful Canal Road in 1940. FC College has produced Pakistan’s top Judges, Civil Servants, Prime Ministers, and Businessmen in all these 160 years.

I shared my experience as the President of LUMS SDSB Alumni Association and shared some thoughts on ways to actively engage the alumni body. I expressed my keenness to support FCCU in whichever way I can as I owe it to this wonderful place for setting the foundation of my own academic and professional journey.

I look forward to actively supporting FC College and possibly make up for all these 26 years that I couldn’t give to my alma mater.
